Finding vegan beauty products can be difficult, especially when certain brands are not entirely vegan. Labels on makeup can be difficult to read, and they may not make it clear whether they are vegan or otherwise. This is why extensive research into the products’ ingredients is necessary. Animal products can be easily hidden in any product’s ingredients list. But when used in the beauty industry, they are harder to spot and easier to mask.
In recent years, many makeup companies have created vegan formulas or switched out their makeup with vegan recipes, or gone completely vegan. KimChi Chic Beauty is one of the many vegan brands. Others include E.L.F., By Beauty Bay, and KVD Vegan Beauty. Most of the products I use are under PS15 or on sale often. It’s important to note that the products I recommend may not be suitable for everyone. That is okay. These are products that I find work and use on a daily basis. This is not sponsored. These are the products that I use every day! Let’s get started!
- You can choose from a variety of E.L.F primers, including those that adjust the tone, those that hydrate, and those which reduce pores. They are available in liquid, mist, or putty, depending on the product. I alternate between the tone-adjusting primer and ‘poreless glue.’ Both primers are hydrating but remain tacky to hold onto products. Although I personally prefer liquid primers, all of the ones I’ve used have been great. (Superdrug PS5 – PS10)
- Can’t Stop Won’t Stop Foundation from NYX – it has a medium-full cover, blends beautifully, and lasts throughout the day. It’s never cakey, and I apply it with a damp sponge. It’s only been about three months since I started using it, but it’s already one of my favorite foundations. (Superdrug PS15 – 38 shades)
- Flawless Finish Foundation from E.L.F. Another elf product. This brand is amazing, especially considering the price. Check them out! This foundation is one of my favorites. It has a medium-full cover, feels lightweight, and blends well. It blended with other products well and lasted throughout the day. It looked airbrushed and never cakey when I applied it again with a sponge. This is one of my favorites, along with Can’t Stop Willing to Stop. (Superdrug PS7.50 – 26 shades)
- E.L.F. 16hr Camo Concealer Last elf product, I promise. I have used this concealer forever, and at first, I wouldn’t say I liked it. But if I use an eyeshadow blending tool to blend it? It looks great! This is full coverage. You don’t need to use more than two dots for good coverage. And this comes from someone who has a lot of trouble with under-eye circles! It was a bit dry when I applied it with a spongy, and it never really settled. But using a brush solved that problem. The powder is also a good idea to use sparingly. (Superdrug PS5 – 18 shades)
- This product is a bit stinky, but it does the job. This product is the answer to my foundation smudging under my nose. Two light coats solve the problem. The concealer is set nicely with a light dusting. The product has a very silky texture, and its performance makes up for any smell. (Beauty Bay – PS4 – 2 shades)
- The colors are nice and blend well. What else can I say about this product? Beauty Bay PS2.50 (four shades)
- Ultra Blush Palette from Makeup Revolution: lots of colors with highlighters. It’s really cute and pigmented. It builds nicely and blends very well. (Beauty Bay – PS6 palettes)
- Makeup Revolution Precise Eyebrow Pencil- I’m not a big fan of brow products. I usually just color them in and then call it a night. If I’m in doubt, I’ll use eyeshadow. It’s a good product, though. It is pigmented and does the job. Beauty Bay PS3.95 (three shades)
- James Charles Artistry Palette from Morphe: Every single color is so rich, the blend out so well, and the metallics look so creamy. This palette is amazing. It’s not too bad. There is some fallout. UNiDAYS has a discount code of 20% for online purchases. (Morphe – PS39)
- Beauty Bay palettes are so affordable and pigmented. The James Charles Palette has the same reviews, but Beauty Bay offers more collections and more colors. Beauty Bay PS6.50 to PS25
- Butter Lipsticks are my favorite. I also like Lip Lingerie by NYX, Strictly Vinyl lip gloss, and Suede Matte Lipsticks. All of their liquid lipsticks have a pigmented finish and are not drying. (NYX PS4 – PS9)
- SRSLY Satin Lipsticks from E.L.F. Last product from Elf! They are pigmented, and they’re hydrating. A good product overall! (Superdrug PS3 – 10 shades)
Here are my suggestions! What works for me may not work for you. Red pigments in vegan pressed pigments can stain the eyes. On the labels, they are not recommended to be used in the immediate eye area. However, they are completely safe. They don’t stain that badly. I once used one of the James Charles palette reds as eyeliner, and for the next day, I looked like I had a red eye. You can use them without any worries, but be aware that they may stain.
These are the vegan products that I use or recommend in my daily makeup routine. There is no wrong or right way to apply makeup. What works for you will be perfect.
