Five Protein Supplements We Love

Smoothie season has arrived and since we have been all excited and raring to go with everything that encompasses springtime and more we thought we’d quickly chat about some protein powders we love and are smoothie obsessed with.

Because with so many on the market and popping up all over our Insty feeds navigating through all of them can be a little tough right! However there are a hole heap of good ones we love that are not filled with any crap and will make your smoothie taste bomb.

And we’ve popped them a little info about them for you below.

The Body Chef Inner Beauty Powder Chocolate and Vanilla (with Matcha) - $!20.00

This is like a protein powder on steroids. Available in both chocolate and vanilla it’s packed with three clean sources of bio-available plant proteins along with super-fruits, vegetables, alkalizing greens and probiotics too. It’s like your do it all good for you powder for a smoothie. Also contains 100 per cent of your recommended daily intake of vitamins C, 50 per cent of your recommended daily intake of vitamin D and a natural source of vitamins A, B2, B3 and B6 and vitamin k. It’s vegan and can be taken daily. Pheeew. Choose from chocolate, vanilla. Yum.

Vital Protein Protein Powder Vanilla - $34.99

Made from 100% pure natural pea protein if you like a vanilla like taste to your your smoothie then this product could be for you. They do also have a chocolate flavour although this one goes with more combos and can even be thrown into stuff when you bake it. Relatively cheap when compared with other proteins on the market as well (although probably because it doesn’t come with any Insty hype. But so good!)

The Super Elixir by WelleCO Nourishing Protein White Caddy - $90.00

A really good all natural, vegan friendly organic pea and brown rice protein worth a shop if you’re keen on spending the coin. It’s quite expensive so probably not the best option if you’re going to be using it liberally every day. However, made from organic ingredients including raw Peruvian cacao to maintain blood sugar levels, combat stress and provide a healthy metabolism. It’ll do your body and your smoothie a whole world of good.

Sun Warrior Classic Protein Whole Grain Brown Rice, Chocolate - $27.55

Another cheapie for all you protein smoothie fiends! Made from organic whole grain brown rice protein and sweetened with a little stevia and cocoa flavours it’s pretty much made for the chocolate lover within. Also probably one of the cheapest protein powders you’ll find on the market not filled with crap. Soy free, gluten free, dairy free and vegan.

Amazonia Raw Protein Isolate Natural - $34.99

The protein powder for all of you who might not like to taste your protein powders in your daily dranks. Or for when you’re planning on baking stuff or adding a little to certain recipes and don’t want the flavour to overpower. Also comes infused with live digestive enzymes and prebiotics (food for good digestive bacteria) to support digestive balance, which assists with the breakdown and assimilation of protein for ultimate absorption.
