How To Keep Your Oily Skin (and Makeup) In Check This Summer

With summer around the corner Makeup Artist, Amelia Singson is sharing her favourite products to keep your skin and makeup in check!

Mac Blot Powder - $38.00

An oil controlling face powder that doesn't make your foundation heavier or a different colour! Perfect for setting your makeup or touch ups.

Brilliant cream that works as a primer or over makeup to fill pores and reduce shine. It has no colour so you don't have to worry about it altering your foundation, instead it's all about reducing shine and no pores! Literally my mums favourite product - "spakfilla" she calls it!
Use this bad boy once a week and you will thank me. It detoxes, reduces the look of pores, fine lines and wrinkles all while leaving your skin nourished and hydrated!! A detoxing mud mask that hydrates has always been something of an anomaly for me. How does a mask that reduces the oil factor in your skin ALSO keep it nourished and hydrated?? The answer is in the unique combination of Japanese Hijiki seaweed that feeds the skin nutrients and hydration and volcanic ash that draws out impurities and toxins.
Luxury is the only word that comes to mind when I think of Nars. Also... modern, sleek, sophisticated... and I'm just talking about the packaging haha Nars Tinted Moisturiser is perfect for those of us who want to combat shine and perfect our skin with minimal product. Oil free and a little goes a really long way to blur out any imperfections. Obsessed.
So me and this baby kind of go way back. She's gotten me through sticky work days, dancing all night and the occasional trip to the beach (I wear makeup to the beach sometimes, whatever...) and don't even get me started on the countless beach photo shoots she's saved me on!! A few spritzes over the top of your makeup basically seals it all in for the entire day. Much better than hairspray all over your face!
