We did it, Peachy Keen our new sister shoe and accessory store to Rebel Muse opened this weekend… and we are totally obsessed with it.
Naturally we also hope you’ve had a chance to pop in, say hello/buy yourself some brand new shoes or a bag/sunnies too. But for all of you who haven’t had the chance, it doesn’t matter, because we are now officially open for business so you can pop in any time.
(Although perhaps during our opening hours of: Mon-Wed 10am-5.30pm, Thursday 10am -7pm, Friday 10am – 5.30pm, Saturday 10am – 5pm and Sunday 10am – 4pm would be best).
Anyway, we also had a fun little sneak preview for a bunch of our VIP’s and media earlier this week so we should chat about too because despite all the shoes and accessories (which we will get to in a second…geez, patience ladies) we also had some fun food, drinks and all of the jamz to put us in the shoe buying mood!
(HA. Like we need to be put into a shoe buying mood…that is our mood always.)
Firstly though, we have to say a gigantic thank you to everybody who came! We’re so excited to see Canberra loving our new baby as much as we do and we especially love that you all made it out to celebrate its birth. Plus it was just such a god damn good weather day (which we all know we don’t get to see too often) which just made our launch feel like summer/and like all our stars were aligned.
Now onto the food.
Our catering was done by the gorgeous and super talented Pip and Lou (who can cook a mean sweet) we had custom ‘Peachy Keen, Jelly Bean’ biscuits made – which is the line from the movie Grease and also the inspiration behind our new stores name. The rest of the food and the peach bellini's served to all of our guests were supplied by Woodbroke Catering, Ainslie Cellars provided additional drinks and our Dj for the night was Ave Nocturna.
On Saturday though, we went a little further and organised our very own fairy floss machine manned by Alicia’s BF in an outfit that was perfection, balloons and of course even more tasty treats for all the babes that took the time out to pay our new baby a visit/shop.
SO now we have two babies, our beloved Rebel Muse and our new addition Peachy Keen. Although let us give you a quick run down of the brands Peachy Keen currently stocks.
For footwear you will find; Senso, The Mode Collective, Jaggar, Superga, Birkenstock, Alias Mae, Dept of Finery, Siren and Robert Robert.
For bags and accessories you will find; Dylan Kain, The Wolf Gang, Pared Eyewear, Sunday Somewhere, Elizabeth and James, Kapten & Son, Nixon, F + H Jewellery, Amber Sceats, Krystle Knight and 66 The Label.
Obviously though, there will be many more labels and brands to come and we can’t wait to share them all with you too.
So thanks again ladies of Canberra for being a part of our journey (and for sharing with us, all the love for style and accessories as well).
Tell us, what are your favourite shoe and accessory labels? We’d love to know!
