Alicia - Alice McCall, Macgraw + Mode Collective
I love this short/top combination that I wore on night one (yes it's actually shorts/a skort, not a skirt), and even though both garments are black they are made of totally different fabrics with different prints, textures and weight. I love the subtle contrast of the clashing print on print and the heavy tasseled shorts with the flowy, billowy blouse. I didn't buy these pieces together to be worn as a set. The blouse you will usually see me wear with leather pants or jeans and the skorts are super cute with a basic tee and white sandshoes but together they create a beautiful evening look.
I love the way Catalina styled up this Matin playsuit. On the hanger this linen playsuit looks super relaxed and you imagine summer days lounging around in it with birkenstocks, this sexy dressed up look is not what comes to mind. She rolled the shorts and sleeves up a little, buttoned it down to expose a bit of her lacy bra and teamed with some bold jewellery and statement heels. Creating a super effortless chic look.
Acacia - Hansen & Gretel
There's no debating that silk slip dresses are "so hot right now" although they can be a pretty tricky trend to pull off, as you can very easily look like you're wearing a nighty. I think it's safe to say though, that Acacia nailed the look. When wearing a slip dress, make sure you wear with heels and put effort into your hair and makeup, to avoid looking like you just rolled out of bed. You can read more about how to wear silk this spring/summer here.
Taylor - Faithfull The Brand
These pants by Faithful are hands down collectively one of our favourite pieces in store. Taylor was definitely quick on the mark to snatch up a pair as soon as they arrived. Made from a super luxe satin rayon these pants do all the talking. A statement pant like these do not need a lot of work. Taylor kept it simple with a simple black top and strappy heels.
I have been busting to break out the spring wardrobe! Unfortunately the weather this week had other plans, but that didn't stop me from rocking out in a denim mini. Just throw a big coat over the top and Bobs your uncle. Denim mini's are another big trend this spring/summer, but again don't just think they are just for the day time. Dress them up with heels and a nice top and you have an effortless, cool evening look.
