Eye creams. Love them, hate them or maybe you feel quite undecided about them? The fact is that our eye area does age relatively quick and is a place on our face that needs a little extra TLC.
However, do you tend to ignore it? Using eye creams can seem like another annoying step to whack on top of our ever increasing skincare routine but the truth is, a little goes a long way. Also; prevention is key! (AND realistically using an eye cream will add an extra 20 seconds to your skincare routine).
Anyway, whether you’re in the market for a new eye cream or have been wanting to replace an oldie you already have, tonight we thought we’d round up a bunch of our current faves to help you do just that.
Results Rx Doctor - $220.00
If you’ve got the coin, then this is one of the best. Not only will it help with dry/dehydrated skin but it can help with fine lines, puffy eyes, discolouration and can even be used post laser/dermal treatments. It's an investment piece for your eyes.
Peter Thomas Roth Cucumber Detox Hydra-Gel Eye Patches - $48.00
Ok, so these aren’t really eye creams but they’re even better. Especially after a sleepless night (or when you’re suffering a hangover). They’re cooling eye patches you pop on under your eyes. They’re coming to Sephora Aus in August but if you stalk them online you’ll probably be able to find somewhere that ships to Australia! (Otherwise hang tight). Anyway, super cooling, these will help you look and feel awake. Detoxifying, nourishing and most importantly, de-puffing. Which will help you look and feel younger in twenty minutes flat. Hot tip: keep them in the fridge for extra brownie points.
Elizabeth Arden Ceramide Eye Gel - $65.00
Are you stressed? Tired? All of the above? Then this cult eye cream by Elizabeth Arden could help fix your woes. Not only will it help your eye area feel hydrated and moisturised but it will make your under eye area appear a whole lot less dull. (Which tends to happen when we’re overly anxious and stressed.) Bonus, you can pick this one up at your local David Jones.
Pure Coffee Bean Eye Cream - $44.95
This one is for all you natural green beauty lovers out there. (And also a favourite among celebs such as Kate Hudson.) Rich in caffeine and the anti-inflammatory properties of organic green coffee bean this eye product is a kicka$$ natural, all-rounder. It nourishes, hydrates, improves the appearance of dark circles and really just helps your eye area glow. This is also a good one to keep in the fridge and works well under makeup too.
If an anti-ageing product is what you’re after then this is the baby for you. Also relatively cheap in comparison to others! Enriched with ingredients such as vitamin E, hyaluronic acid, and marine collagen it’s been created to treat age spots and wrinkles around the eyes and lips. It won’t reverse any damage, but it's like insurance!
