The Makeup Removing Products You Need

Nothing is worse than committing the cardinal sin of going to bed with your makeup on. Not only is it bad for your skin (not to mention all the leftover mascara on your bed) but it's also bad when trying to re-apply a fresh face of makeup the next day. With so many makeup removing products on the market though, which ones actually work? Makeup Artist, Amelia Singson is sharing her professional faves with us below!

MAC Makeup Wipes - $44.00

Made by the brand coveted by artists and makeup lovers alike, these wipes were made to cut through makeup. Drenched in nourishing Vitamin E, any and all makeup in including that tricky waterproof mascara come off in one swipe. A must if you're on the go!
This has been a life saver since getting eyelash extensions! This Cleansing water has come in handy with taking off my beloved eye makeup and foundation without disturbing my lashes. Not the best for removing waterproof but a champion when removing anything else.
Utowa Cleansing Oil (Light)/Eve Lom Cleansing Balm - $72.00

Oils and balms are longtime loves of mine. Since becoming a Makeup Artist; waterproof, long-stay and smudgeproof product has been apart of my daily makeup regimen. The Utowa Cleansing Oil comes in a light and rich formula and works a treat on the skin. One pump massaged into dry skin and it dissolves long-wearing makeup in a snap! Splash some water on it to turn it into a milk and it washes off straight away with no oily residue. *Love heart eyes*
Eve Lom's cult cleanser has been hailed by Vogue UK as "probably the best cleanser in the world," and for good reason. "Clove oil acts to encourage clear skin and take out redness, eucalyptus oil works to drain away toxins, it tones oil, Egyptian chamomile softens and soothes and cocoa butter conditions." Cleansing, toning and exfoliating! What a combo!

People for Plants is an Australian-owned organic skincare company. This gel is perfect for normal to combination. No sulphites so it doesn't dry your skin out and can be used in the shower! Contains Vitamins A, B12, C, E, antioxidants and minerals.
Perfect for sensitive skin, Sukin's Cream Cleanser is also great for taking off makeup and dirt. Rosehip, avocado, wheat germ and sesame work to nourish, hydrate and cleanse the skin.

Katie Saarikko :

I highly recommend using hemp oil as a first cleanser to remove your makeup. :)
